How have your political views changed over time?

My political views have gotten more conservative as I have gotten older. When I was growing up, the democrats was for the working class. At least, that’s what my parents told me. The first election i could vote in I voted for Bill Clinton. That was the last time I voted Democrat. As I grew older, I learned it was more important to vote with my wallet, and the right just seemed to take better care of the country. I am not far right. I still have some liberal ideas. I believe the only agenda the government should have is running the country and looking for EVERYONES best interests.

    I guess i don’t understand this. It seems like the right hands off bigger debt and the left comes and balances the budget. Clinton handed Bush a balanced budget; Bush handed Obama massive debt and an economy in tatters. That’s the cycle I’ve observed.

      I was referring to what the common person pays for everything we need. When the left wins the white house prices go out of control
